Dengue Fever: BBMP Commissioner also has dengue; Fever for 1,230 people in Bangalore!
Dengue Fever: Dengue is increasing in the state and doctors have advised people to take precautions. More than a thousand people including BBMP commissioners in Bangalore are suffering from dengue fever.
Bengaluru: If it starts raining, it is enough that the mosquito population will also increase. Due to the increase in dengue fever during this season, it is very important to be careful. At present, the fear of dengue has increased in the state including Bangalore. Bangalore BBMP Commissioner Tushar Girinath has also developed dengue fever. Fever appeared four days ago, dengue is strong.
Due to extreme weather and rain, the number of dengue cases is increasing. In 2022, 7,317 cases of dengue fever were detected in the state, out of which four died. In 2023, 2003 cases were reported. In 2024 till date (June) 85,365 were suspected, of which 37,144 blood samples were collected. Accordingly, 3,957 people have been diagnosed with dengue fever. 1230 people have been diagnosed with dengue fever in Bangalore. No death due to dengue has been reported so far.
